Step #1: Initial Evaluation.....
A "baseline" is set to evaluate current therapeutic interventions and develop a service plan to maintain quality measures, ensures regulatory compliance, and guide profitability management.
Step#2: Data Collection & Analysis.....
Our Daily Treatment Record ("DTR") is the only screen used to enter treatment and other data daily. This makes our system easy-to-learn and easy-to-use. The DTR will help achieve targeted RUG's Levels, maximize productivity, and improve quality control over treatments provided.
Step #3: Clinical Compliance Oversight.....
We access your data "on line" from anywhere and focus on CPT Code and Diagnosis usage, minutes of care provided in relation to CMS minute parameters, ARD Planning and RUG's Level selection, CCI Edits, improving communications with nursing and MDS, and recognizing patient changes in relation to Quality Indicators.
Compliance Support: Peak helps this client manage CCI Edits, Medicare Part B exception modifiers, CMS minute parameters, once per day procedures, and other quality control and compliance issues.
Step #4: Management Review.....
Our compliance editor ensures error free billing, identifies missed billing opportunities, and eliminates denials. Our billing interface tool cuts costs and improves billing accuracy by creating a "clean" billing file to submit to the business office electronically.
We control staff costs with our comprehensive time management tools that include our Time Clock, Log Non-Treatment Time, Payroll module, and Productivity Reports.
Problem: This client exceeded the Medicare Part B caps. Action Steps: Peak uses this report to control the number of visits remaining, manage the Exceptions Process before the caps are exceeded, and recommend inter-disciplinary referrals to maximize reimbursement for Medicare Part B treatments.
